Every dollar, accounted for.
We publish every transaction. 90% of every donation, after processing fees*, funds local projects on the southern Gold Coast. 10% covers running costs — hosting, a part-time coordinator, the boring stuff — so we can keep building. Inspired by Ecosia's monthly receipts.
* Card and bank processing fees are unavoidable — every payment processor charges them. That's why we recommend $4 a month in one payment: it keeps the largest share of your donation for the cause. Prefer $1 a week? That's completely fine too.
Where your dollar goes
Of every $1 received (after card processing): 90¢ funds local projects, 10¢ keeps the lights on — hosting, the part-time coordinator, the boring stuff that lets us run. That's it.
Heads up: Stripe takes its processing fee before this split — on a $1 weekly charge that's about 30¢. That's why we offer the option to bundle weekly/fortnightly dollars into one monthly charge — it's the member's choice. See the join page for the full per-plan fee table.

Our promises
- 90% of every donation (after unavoidable processing fees) funds local projects. 10% (capped) covers running costs. We never raise it.
- Our bank account is linked live to this page — the balance and every transaction are public, in real time.
- Every funded project is logged on the Impact page with amount, date, recipient (anonymised), and receipts on file.
- Members vote on every spend. No one can override the chain's decision.
- If we ever can't keep these, we'll say so loudly — not quietly.
